This rug is huge and very soft to walk on. It's much better than I was expecting. I'm really happy I took a chance on this rug.

I bought this rug to use in my living room while teaching music classes. The kids in my first class (1st-3rd gd) fell in love with this rug the moment they walked in. It was so soft and fluffy that they literally tried to swim on it. (It was soooo cute!)I had read that people were having a hard time cleaning the rug. So, I was putting the rug away when I didn’t have classes. I felt so bad for my own kids, and even my husband, bcuz they loved how soft the rug was, but with two dogs, one of which is a German Shepherd that sheds a whole lot, I was worried about the rug getting dirty.But one day, I was doing a quick vacuum around the tile by the rug before one of my classes and I accidentally vacuumed part of the rug. Much to my surprise, I didn’t have a problem at all! I had already used my heavy-duty wet/dry pet vac earlier that day, so I was just doing a quick touch-up to pick up some dog fur with a light-weight, stick-vac. Since this is a hand-held vac that has an attachment to convert it to a stick-vac, there are no rollers for the rug to get caught on! I was worried for a moment, but once I realized there wasn’t a problem, I was able to vacuum the whole rug!So, I decided to start leaving the rug out for my family, and they were so happy with it that my two teenagers, and even my husband, sprawled out on the rug that evening. I have now had this sitting out in our living room for two weeks, and it still looks and feels great!Before I decided to leave this one out, I had actually bought another similar-looking rug from Garvee that cost a little bit less for our family to use, but there was a huge difference in quality. The moment my kids stepped on the new rug, it slid across the floor and bunched up. After that, it was one critical comment after another. My kids said that fibers were short, sparse, and not very soft. Then, they noticed that when you lie down, the padding wasn’t thick enough to cushion you from the hard floor. I also didn’t like that the color looked dull and the rug itself looked very cheaply made.While I wasn’t happy with the cheaper rug, I was glad that we tried it bcuz it really made us appreciate the quality of this rug. Our kids love how much softer and how much more of a cushion this rug has. I love the fact that this rug stays in place, even when our dogs and teens are playing around on it. I also love how beautiful this rug is and how well it has stood up to my family, dogs, and students.If you are debating on a shag rug, don’t let price keep you from buying this one. I was lucky to buy this for a great price on Prime-Day, but if I ever decide to buy another one, I wouldn’t hesitate to spend a little more money for this quality!

This rug was just what I needed for my bedroom! It's beautiful and very affordable for a rug of this size. I am very happy with my purchase. It fluffs up nicely with a vacuum on a low setting. My more powerful vacuum does not work well with this rug. The color is exactly as pictured. I'm not sure yet the best way to clean it, so I do not walk on it with shoes in an effort to keep it clean. Don't hesitate to buy it!

for the price this is an incredible deal I’m really happy I found, I wasn’t sure I’d love the color but was gonna get it for a “time being” as I needed a bigger bedroom rug. it’s super soft, I like the color, and I swear it’s bigger but for me that a good thing!
