Great for student dorm room

Got this for my dorm and it’s been a lifesaver during early fall heat waves. Cools the room quickly and doesn’t block the window view, which is huge.

Quiet little workhorse for the condo

Installed this in our downtown condo bedroom and it cools the space quickly without drowning out the TTC outside. The U‑shape really cuts the street noise compared to our old unit.

Good cooling, install took some patience

Once it was in, performance has been great for our small office. The install was a bit fiddly with the brackets, but nothing impossible for a weekend project.

I was skeptical about the U‑shape marketing, but with the window closed around it, outside traffic noise really is reduced. The room stays cool and fairly quiet all day.

Great balance of power and efficiency

For a 250 sq. ft. room this is plenty of cooling. We noticed a drop in our power usage compared to the old unit, even running it most evenings and weekends.

Efficient but a bit heavy to mount

The energy‑saving mode keeps our Hydro bill in check, which is nice. Just be aware it’s on the heavier side, so have a second person help with installation.

Solid choice for older apartments

Our rental doesn’t have central air, so this unit has been awesome. Easy to fit in the existing window frame and we can still open the window for fresh air.

We’re in Halifax and the dehumidifying mode has been awesome. Takes the damp chill out without blasting ice‑cold air, which makes the bedroom way more comfortable.
